This is Daphne ressurected she has lost quite a bit of her humanity and is happier now that she is almost a TREE.
She was entered in the first Timeless Textiles exhibition in Newcastle
she sold and I was very happy not to have to bring her home again and find somewhere for her to fit into my crowded life. This Photograph of Daphne and me was taken by Glenys Jackson.

Daphne has grown some leaves and has taken herself off to the Art Gallery of NSW as an entrant in the Wynne Prize she says I am to pick her up on the 8th of July but I reckon she'll be ringing me next week wanting to come home. She doesn't like this photo says it makes her look fatter then she is.

Blanket Gift, woollen blanket embroidered with images of the the typhoid bacteria, figure is clay mixed with acrylic emulsion. Typhoid infected blankets were given to Aboriginal people in Australia whether deliberately or accidentally for the people infected the result was the same.

This is my African Quilt made to commemorative the Africans who were on the first fleet to Australia 300 yeras ago. They were mostly African Americans.
